Bouquet Canyon Road Race 6/14/2008
Start time is 8:00 AM and there will again be A and B groups. The parking and start area is on Seco Canyon road (0.8 miles from Bouquet Canyon Rd.), just before Santa Clarita Park if going North. This club training race is held in conjunction with the Southbay Wheelmen's Dave Richardson Race Series. You must be a member of Peninsula Cycle Club or Southbay Wheelmen to race. There will be A and B groups, men and women and juniors under 16.

Riders please take note of the course directions so you do not miss any turns. The B group rides part of the same course as the A group then takes a short cut near the reservoir.

Since 1992, Peninsula Cycle Club has supported the needs of local bicyclists throughout the South Bay. Weekly rides of various levels are hosted by the club.  The Bike Palace supports our annual Port to Port ride from San Pedro to San Diego. New club members pay just $25.00 for the first year, which includes a 20% bike shop discount at The Bike Palace. Members may then buy jerseys, jackets, vests and shorts at member prices. If you would like a club application, visit The Bike Palace  or contact us and we will email you one.

We are always looking for team sponsors. Contact Tony  or Brad if your company would like to become a team sponsor. There are also continuing opportunities to become a sponsor of the Torrance Criterium as well. If you are interested in sponsoring our Torrance Criterium, held each Spring, please contact Edgardo. The club owns the Torrance Criterium bicycle race fund raiser, and conducts it each year with the help of Back On Track Productions. This USA Cycling sanctioned race, now in it's second decade, continues to generate enthusiasm in the Torrance community. The Torrance Criterium offers multiple level categories including races for junior men and women as young as ten, and is noted by competitors as a very challenging and spectator friendly well organized event. The junior categories are part of the Lance Armstrong Junior Olympic Road Series.

General meetings are held monthly. On occasion, we have special guest speakers.
