Clean California

Our peninsula community has been designated as a Clean California Community because of our efforts to protect our shared spaces from litter.

Redwood Community Action Agency

RCAA initiated the Peninsula Beautification Project with a CalTrans grant that included projects for litter abatement and murals around the peninsula.

Humboldt Bay Harbor District

PCC representatives participate on the Humboldt Bay Harbor District’s Community Advisory Committee to share perspectives, concerns, and priorities of peninsula residents with the Harbor District and help the community learn more about the potential Heavy Lift Marine Terminal project in Samoa.
